Andrew Feldman

Feldman previously co-founded the microserver company SeaMicro, which he sold to AMD, giving him a background in rethinking computer architecture from first principles. In 2015 he co-founded Cerebras on the contrarian bet that a single wafer-sized chip could outperform clusters of smaller ones for AI.

Cerebras's Wafer-Scale Engine packs hundreds of thousands of cores and vast on-chip memory bandwidth onto one wafer-sized die, avoiding much of the communication overhead of GPU clusters. Its systems and inference cloud target workloads where speed matters most, delivering very high throughput on large open-weight models.

Under Feldman, Cerebras built deep partnerships including large deployments with the UAE's G42, and became one of the most physically distinctive challengers to NVIDIA, arguing that specialized architectures win on inference economics.
